What does the Bible say about the Savior we seek?

Answered in 1 source

The Bible teaches that the true Savior, Jesus Christ, willingly seeks and saves sinners.

In John 18, we see that Jesus, aware of Judas's betrayal, voluntarily allowed himself to be captured, illustrating his role as the willing Savior who seeks sinners. Many people create their own version of Jesus, an image that fits their desires rather than recognizing Him for who He truly is—the Savior of sinners. This is a critical distinction because it emphasizes the necessity of seeking the authentic Jesus, who offers real redemption, rather than a false god of our own making.
