What does the Bible say about the signs of Christ's return?

Answered in 1 source

The Bible indicates that signs like apostasy and rampant iniquity will precede Christ's return.

In Matthew 24, Jesus speaks of the signs of His return, particularly mentioning the days of Noah as akin to the present age. He warns that as people were unaware and engrossed in everyday activities before the flood, so too will be the case at His return. Two principal signs pointed out by Jesus are apostasy, illustrated by many turning away from the faith and following false teachings and prophets, and a pervasive increase in iniquity, leading to a coldness in love among people (Matthew 24:10-12). These signs are clear indicators that we must watch and remain vigilant.
