What does the Bible say about the stability of the wicked?

Answered in 1 source

The Bible teaches that the house of the wicked will be overthrown, while the tabernacle of the upright will flourish (Proverbs 14:11).

According to Proverbs 14:11, the house of the wicked represents a false stability that is ultimately doomed to destruction. Despite appearances, what man perceives as a firm and well-built house is, in reality, as unstable as sand. In Matthew 7:26-27, Jesus expounds this principle by illustrating that those who fail to heed His words will experience a great fall, like a house built on sand during a storm. The assurance for believers is that while the wicked's efforts will ultimately collapse, the tabernacle of the upright—those in Christ—will flourish through God's grace and sustaining power.
