What does the Bible say about the strength of a witness?

Answered in 1 source

The strength of a witness comes from proclaiming the Word of God and relying on Christ's light and salvation.

The Bible teaches that the strength of a witness is rooted in declaring the truth of Jesus Christ and His work. As seen in Acts 13:44-47, when Paul and Barnabas preached the Gospel, their boldness was a reflection of their reliance on the truth of God's Word. It is not our own power or abilities that enable us to witness effectively, but the work of Christ through the Holy Spirit. We draw strength from the fact that Christ has commanded us to be His witnesses, and He empowers us with the assurance that all whom the Father has given Him shall come to Him (John 6:37). Thus, our encouragement and strength come from knowing that God is actively guiding and supporting our efforts in proclaiming the Gospel.
