What does the Bible say about the strength of faith?

Answered in 1 source

The Bible teaches that faith, regardless of its strength, is vital for salvation, as it points to trust in Christ rather than personal ability.

The Scriptures emphasize that faith isn't about its quantity or strength, but rather about the object of that faith—Jesus Christ. As illustrated in Matthew 17, even faith as small as a mustard seed can accomplish great things when placed in the omnipotent Christ. True faith acknowledges our weakness and relies fully on Christ’s power for salvation. Hebrews 11:1 states that faith is the substance of things hoped for, showing that faith does not have to be robust to be genuine; what matters is that it is genuine faith in Christ that counts.
