What does the Bible say about the temporality of life?

Answered in 1 source

The Bible teaches that all flesh is like grass that withers, emphasizing the temporary nature of earthly life.

Isaiah 40:6-8 states that 'All flesh is grass, and all the goodliness thereof is as the flower of the field. The grass withereth, the flower fadeth; because the spirit of the Lord bloweth upon it.' This passage illustrates that all earthly things are temporary and transient. Similarly, 2 Corinthians 4:17-18 reinforces this by saying, 'For the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal.' We must remember that our lives and possessions are fleeting, and what truly matters are the eternal things of God.
