What does the Bible say about the two books of God?

Answered in 1 source

The Bible describes two books God has written: the book of creation and the Scriptures.

According to Psalm 19, God has authored two significant books: the book of creation and the book of Scriptures. The book of creation, as articulated in the first six verses, demonstrates God's glory through the heavens and the natural world, leaving all humanity without excuse (Romans 1:20). It reveals God's existence but fails to provide a full understanding of His nature or a way to salvation. In contrast, the Scriptures are described in verses 7-9 of Psalm 19 as perfect, authoritative, and the means by which souls are converted, thus providing the revelation of God's justice, mercy, and grace necessary for salvation.
