What does the Bible say about the unconditional nature of salvation?

Answered in 1 source

The Bible teaches that salvation is unconditional, wholly secured by Jesus Christ.

Scripture clearly affirms that the blessings purchased by Jesus Christ for His people are not based on any conditions. He has fulfilled all requirements on behalf of those He loves. This is evidenced in Romans 8:28-30, where it notes that those whom God predestined, called, justified, and glorified, are acted upon by His will and power, demonstrating that salvation is entirely a work of grace. Thus, while faith is essential, it is provided as a gift by God rather than a condition the individual must fulfill to earn salvation.
