What does the Bible say about the willingness of Christ to save sinners?

Answered in 1 source

The Bible states that Christ is willing to save all who are willing to be saved, as seen in His plea to Jerusalem in Luke 13:34.

In Luke 13:34, Jesus expresses His willingness to save by saying, 'O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, how often would I have gathered thy children together, as a hen doth gather her brood under her wings!' This indicates that Christ has a compassionate desire to protect and redeem those who come to Him. His willingness to save is not contingent on our worthiness but is rooted in His grace and love. While Christ is willing, the unfortunate reality is that many are unwilling to respond to His call, effectively rejecting the salvation He offers.
