What does the Bible say about the worth of a sinner?

Answered in 1 source

The Bible teaches that a sinner's worth is nothing in themselves, but through Christ's redemption, they are of infinite value to God.

In Leviticus 27, God speaks about the worth of individuals making vows to serve Him, emphasizing that their value is determined by God’s estimation rather than their own worth. Consequently, in our natural state, we are like 'zeros', of no value of ourselves. However, when a person becomes a child of God through faith in Christ, their worth is radically transformed. Christ, who is infinite in worth, brings value to those who are seen as nothing, as expressed in 1 Corinthians 1:26-29, where God chooses the foolish and weak to confound the wise and mighty.
