What does the Bible say about understanding the end of the wicked?

Answered in 1 source

The Bible teaches that the end of the wicked is destruction, and they will ultimately face God's judgment.

Psalm 73 reveals that the wicked may prosper in this life, but their end is not secure. Asaph, the psalmist, observes that they seem to live without trouble, becoming proud and corrupt. However, upon entering the sanctuary of God, he gains understanding and realizes that God sets the wicked in slippery places, leading to their ultimate destruction (Psalm 73:18-19). This serves as a warning against envying those who appear to thrive apart from God, reminding believers to seek their fulfillment in Him, whose ways offer true security and peace.
