What does the Bible say about walking as Jesus walked?

Answered in 2 sources

The Bible teaches that to abide in Christ means to walk as He walked, which is evidenced by loving what He loves and hating what He hates.

1 John 2:6 instructs believers that if they claim to abide in Christ, they ought to walk in the same manner as He did. This walking is not merely following an example; it signifies a deep union with Christ, whereby the believer's life is animated and directed by the Holy Spirit. The Christian life reflects a transformation where the tastes and desires of the believer align with those of Christ. Thus, true believers will exhibit a life marked by characteristics reminiscent of their Savior.
