What does the Bible say about weakness and strength in Christianity?

Answered in 1 source

The Bible teaches that God uses the weak and faint, as exemplified by David's band of men, to confound the strong.

The Scriptures illustrate that God's choice often favors the weak and foolish things to confound the wise (1 Corinthians 1:26-29). Just as David led a ragtag band of distressed individuals, the Lord Jesus Christ demonstrates that amidst our weakness, He is our strength. It is in our acknowledgment of our frailty that we are in a position to receive His grace and strength, for His strength is made perfect in weakness (2 Corinthians 12:9). Our dependence on Him, rather than on our strength, invites His aid and guidance.
