What does the Bible say about what God hates?

Scripture clearly indicates that God has a holy hatred for certain things, particularly those that contradict His truth and glory. In Psalm 119:128, it is written, 'Therefore, I esteem all my precepts concerning all things to be right; and I hate every false way.' This means that any way of salvation that undermines the glory of Christ is abhorrent to Him. God despises the proud look, the lying tongue, and all forms of false worship that detract from the gospel of grace. His hatred is not like human anger; rather, it is a perfect response to sin and error that seeks to uphold His holiness.
