What does the Bible say about what we learn when we die?

Answered in 1 source

The Bible teaches that a child of God learns the truth of God's promises fully upon death.

In 1 Corinthians 13:12, Paul points out that now we see through a mirror dimly, but then we shall see face to face. When a child of God dies, they come to a complete understanding of the truth of God's Word, realizing that everything He has said is absolutely true. All doubts and questions will be resolved, and there will be no more conflict about the promises of God. The believer will know without a hint of uncertainty that their faith was not in vain and that God’s words were indeed faithful and true.
