Believers believe because it is the work of grace in their hearts, caused by God Himself.

The Bible teaches that belief in the Gospel is not a result of human will or choice but is entirely the work of grace performed by God. In Galatians 3:22, we see that it is through the promise by faith of Jesus Christ that belief is given to those who are called. This conveys the idea that faith itself is a gift from God, enabling believers to trust in Him.
