What does the Bible say about why we need Christ?

Answered in 1 source

The Bible teaches that we need Christ because we have all broken God's law and require a Savior for redemption.

The Scriptures reveal that every person has sinned and fallen short of the glory of God. According to Matthew 5, Jesus explains that the demands of God's law go beyond mere outward conformity; they require a perfect heart and mind. We cannot meet these demands on our own, and thus, we need a Savior. Christ fulfills the law for us, providing a way for us to be reconciled to God. In Him, we find everything we need for salvation and righteousness.
