Man’s wisdom cannot lead to salvation or knowledge of God; it is faulty and self-reliant. In contrast, God's wisdom, which encompasses all understanding and power, directs us to recognize our need for Christ and His gospel. This divine wisdom ultimately glorifies God and shows that we are to find our understanding not in ourselves, but in being hid with Christ, where true life and wisdom abide.
