What does the Bible say about worshiping God ignorantly?

In Acts 17, Paul addresses the people of Athens, calling their worship to an 'unknown God' ignorant. Ignorant worship means to engage in rituals or practices without understanding their true significance or the nature of God. This kind of worship is empty and does not honor the one true God, who seeks those who worship Him in spirit and truth (John 4:24). God's people are called to know Him fully and to understand the importance of worship that comes from knowledge of His character and redemptive work.
