What does the Bible teach about justice in God?

Answered in 1 source

The Bible teaches that God's justice is perfect and reflected in His dealings with humanity, holding all accountable for sin.

Throughout Scripture, God's justice is a central theme, as demonstrated in the laws regarding inheritance and the consequences of sin. The daughters of Zelophehad did not attribute their father's death to injustice; they recognized God's rightful judgment. In their faith, they acknowledged that God's decisions are inherently just and that even when facing difficult scenarios like their father's death, God is just in His actions. Furthermore, through Christ, believers experience God’s justice satisfied, as Jesus takes upon Himself the punishment for sin, allowing for a just reconciliation between God and humanity. The truth of divine justice assures believers that God operates with perfect righteousness.
