What does the blood of Christ accomplish for believers?

Answered in 2 sources

The blood of Christ accomplishes redemption, cleansing, and reconciliation for believers.

The blood of Christ serves multiple functions in the salvation of believers. Firstly, it acts as a means of redemption, liberating believers from the bondage of sin and condemnation. As we see in Galatians 3:13, 'Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the law.' Secondly, it cleanses believers from all sin, allowing them to stand justified before God. The life of Christ is in His blood, and through His shed blood, believers are made righteous in the sight of God. Lastly, it ensures eternal security, as we are promised that 'neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand' (John 10:28). Such assurance is rooted in the unchanging nature of Christ's covenant promises.
