What does the tabernacle teach us about God's presence?

Answered in 1 source

The tabernacle illustrates how God dwells among His people, specifically through Christ and His sacrifice.

The tabernacle serves as a profound symbol of how God chooses to dwell among His people. In the Old Testament, it was the only place where God manifested His presence among Israel. This is fulfilled in Christ, who embodied the ultimate tabernacle (John 1:14). Through His death and resurrection, believers experience the indwelling of God, effectively making them His tabernacle as well. Thus, the tabernacle communicates God’s desire for relationship and communion with His people, which is now realized through faith in Jesus.
