What does victory look like for a Christian?

Answered in 1 source

Victory for a Christian involves spiritual growth and perseverance, ultimately leading to eternal life with Christ.

Paul assures believers that true victory is found in being 'more than conquerors' through Christ (Romans 8:37). This victory is not about the absence of trials or struggles but rather about the overall trajectory of a believer's life—growing stronger in faith and increasingly conformed to the image of Christ. The struggles encountered in this life serve to deepen one’s dependency on God and reflect His grace in the midst of challenges. Ultimately, the ultimate victory culminates in eternal life, where believers will stand before God, free from sin and the consequences of their struggles, as depicted in Revelation 7:9-10. Thus, victory is experienced as believers press on in their faith, knowing their struggles serve a greater purpose in God's redemptive plan.
