What foundations support Christian hope?

Answered in 1 source

Christian hope is supported by God's unchanging promises and the work of Christ.

The foundation of Christian hope lies in God’s immutable promises and the redemptive work of Jesus Christ. As seen in Romans 8:32, God, who spared not His own Son, assures believers that He will graciously give us all things. This hope is steadfast because it is not based on fluctuating circumstances but on the immutable word of God, which declares His faithfulness. Furthermore, the sacrificial love of Christ—who offered Himself to secure salvation for His people—assures believers of God's commitment to them. Thus, our hope is anchored in the certainty of God’s promises and the completed work of Christ.
