What happens to a believer after they die?

Answered in 1 source

After death, believers are ushered into God's presence, experiencing fullness of joy and eternal pleasures.

When a believer dies, they immediately enter into God's presence, where they will experience fullness of joy and pleasures forevermore. This is assured by the scriptures, particularly Psalm 16:11, which states, 'Thou wilt show me the path of life. In Thy presence is fullness of joy. At Thy right hand there are pleasures forevermore.' This assurance rests on the act of God, who has chosen and redeemed His people through Christ. Just as Christ was raised from the dead and ascended to the right hand of the Father, believers also will be raised to eternal life in His presence.
