What happens to believers after death according to the Bible?

Answered in 2 sources

According to the Bible, believers will be transformed and will see Christ as He is after death.

The Bible teaches that upon death, believers enter into a state of glory where they will be united with Christ. 1 John 3:2 assures us that, 'when He shall appear, we shall be like Him; for we shall see Him as He is.' This transformative promise highlights the believer's hope of being conformed to the image of Christ, free from sin and fully reflecting His glory. Such assurance of transformation empowers Christians to live with purpose and anticipation, knowing that their earthly struggles will ultimately lead to eternal joy in the presence of their Savior.
