What happens to believers' bodies after death?

After death, the bodies of believers remain in the grave but will be raised incorruptible when Christ returns. 1 Corinthians 15:51-52 reveals that not all believers will experience death in the same way, as those alive at Christ’s return will be changed in a moment, while those who have died will be resurrected first.
