What happens to our bodies after we die in Christ?

Answered in 1 source

We can expect to receive new, perfect bodies at the resurrection.

The Bible promises believers that they will receive transformed, glorified bodies at Christ's return. Romans 8:23 highlights that we await the redemption of our bodies, indicating that even as we suffer in our current state, a future hope exists for a perfect existence in glory. This future body will no longer be subject to decay or sin, reflecting the perfection of Christ's own resurrected form. Thus, the hope of bodily resurrection encourages us to endure our earthly trials with faith, knowing that our full redemption is coming.
