What hope do we have despite our struggle with sin?

Answered in 1 source

Our hope lies in Jesus Christ, who delivers us from sin and provides strength to live righteously.

Though believers struggle with sin, we have hope through Jesus Christ, who delivers us from sin’s power. Paul concludes his reflections in Romans 7 by exclaiming, 'I thank God through Jesus Christ our Lord' (Romans 7:25). Despite our failings and the ongoing battle against sin within us, we can rejoice in our deliverance and the transformative power of the Holy Spirit. In Christ, we are justified, and He empowers us to strive for holiness, assuring us that 'there is therefore now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus' (Romans 8:1), which signifies that our standing before God is secure through faith.
