Eternal life is the life of Christ within the believer, which grants them the capacity to know God.

Eternal life is defined in John 17:3 as knowing the only true God and Jesus Christ whom He sent. It is not merely everlasting existence but a profound relationship with God that begins in this life and extends into eternity. This eternal life is the very life of Christ, who is eternal and unchanging, shared with the believer by faith. Through Him, believers have a new nature that inclines toward God and His truth, enabling them to love Him and one another genuinely.
