What is required to enter heaven?

Answered in 1 source

To enter heaven, one must be among the elect, sinless, and have their names written in the Lamb's book of life.

Revelation 21:27 states that nothing impure can enter heaven, which emphasizes God's holiness and the requirements necessary for entrance into the celestial city. Only those whose names are inscribed in the Lamb's book of life will be allowed to enter, meaning that election plays a critical role in salvation. Additionally, the redeemed must have their sins atoned for through the blood of Christ, making them righteous and holy. This emphasizes the necessity of being born again, through which believers are transformed and made fit for eternal life in the presence of God. The wonders of heaven are for those who have been chosen by God according to His grace and mercy.
