What is the importance of Christ to God?

Answered in 1 source

Christ is central to God's plan for salvation, embodying all that God is and fulfilling the law perfectly.

Colossians 1:19 reveals that it pleased God for all fullness to dwell in Christ, establishing Him as the focal point of divine revelation and salvation. Christ represents the culmination of God's redemptive plan, ensuring that all of God’s attributes are expressed in the perfect and sinless life of Jesus. He is granted preeminence over all things as the source of grace and salvation. Through Christ, God's glory is manifested, and He alone is the mediator of our relationship with the Father. Thus, the significance of Christ cannot be overstated—as He is the essential means by which we are reconciled to God and receive eternal life.
