What is the purpose of God's grace in our lives?

Answered in 1 source

God's grace is intended to transform us into His workmanship for good works that glorify Him.

Ephesians 2:10 states that we are God’s workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand. This denotes that while grace initiates our salvation, it also has the purpose of producing genuine fruit in our lives. The works we do are not a means to earn salvation but an outflow of true faith, reflecting the transformation that occurs when one is in Christ. Ultimately, these good works serve to glorify God and demonstrate the evidence of His grace at work within us, aligning with the principles of living a life that honors Him.
