What is the purpose of God's providence in believers' lives?

Answered in 1 source

God’s providence serves to fulfill His sovereign purposes in the lives of believers, calling them to trust and glorify Him.

In the lives of believers, God’s providence is designed to accomplish His will while providing opportunities for growth in faith, sanctification, and service. Each circumstance in life, whether joyful or painful, is orchestrated by God to mold believers into the image of Christ and to fulfill His redemptive plans. As seen in the lives of biblical figures like Joseph and Paul, providence often leads to unexpected outcomes that ultimately glorify God. Therefore, understanding and accepting God’s providential governance encourages believers to live with purpose, confidence, and gratitude in all situations, trusting that God is working for their good.
