What is the purpose of God's salvation?

Answered in 1 source

The purpose of God's salvation is to glorify His name.

According to Psalm 106:8, God saves for His name's sake, which articulates the divine purpose behind salvation. God’s desire is not only to rescue His people but also to make His mighty power known. The act of saving sinners is fundamentally tied to God's glory. Ephesians 1:6 emphasizes that we are saved to the praise of the glory of His grace. God’s gracious action in salvation reflects His character and brings glory to His name, affirming that He is the sovereign ruler who exercises mercy according to His will and purpose. Therefore, the purpose of salvation is fundamentally about God's glory, as seen throughout Scripture.
