The Bible states that no one seeks God on their own; it is God who must draw us to Himself, overcoming our depravity.

Romans 3:11 states unequivocally that there is none who seeks after God, illustrating the fallen human condition. This means that in our depravity, we lack the desire and ability to pursue God. Scripture further emphasizes that the Father must draw individuals to Christ (John 6:44), highlighting that any movement towards God is initiated by God’s grace. Thus, understanding our total inability to seek God fosters dependence on Him for salvation and spiritual awakening.
