What is the relationship between faith and love in the life of a believer?

Answered in 1 source

In a believer's life, faith and love are intertwined; genuine faith naturally produces love.

The relationship between faith and love is one of mutual reinforcement, where true faith in Christ inevitably leads to a loving disposition towards God and others. John emphatically connects these two characteristics in 1 John 5:1, underscoring that belief in Jesus as the Christ is synonymous with loving God and His children. As believers are renewed in the spirit and given a divine nature through regeneration, they find that they cannot help but exhibit love. This love is an expression of the presence of God in their lives, who is the very essence of love. Thus, faith without love is incomplete, as love is the evidence of the transformative power of faith.
