What is the relationship between grace and obedience in a believer's life?

Answered in 1 source

Grace empowers believers to obey Christ willingly and joyfully.

In the life of the believer, grace does not nullify the law but fulfills it through obedience that flows from faith. As seen in Acts 16:33, the jailer showed his transformed heart by repenting and being baptized, demonstrating that obedience follows genuine faith. The true understanding of grace leads to a desire to serve Christ out of love, rather than obligation, resulting in a joyful response to God's commands as evidence of His work in our hearts.
