What is the relationship between the law of God and the law of Christ?

Answered in 1 source

The law of Christ fulfills and embodies the moral law of God, guiding believers in their conduct under grace.

The law of Christ is fundamentally a continuation and fulfillment of the moral law of God, given to us through Jesus. As noted in Galatians 6:2, believers are called to bear one another's burdens and so fulfill the law of Christ, which speaks to the moral requirements originally set forth in the Ten Commandments. While the law of Moses was specific to Israel, the law of Christ applies universally to all believers, expressing God's unchanging moral standards through the lens of grace and redemption. This law involves loving God and loving neighbor, reflecting the essence of the moral law while empowering Christians through the Holy Spirit to obey it willingly and joyfully.
