What is the role of Christ in our peace?

Answered in 1 source

Christ acts as both the author and the source of our peace through His obedience and sacrifice.

Christ is central to our understanding of peace as He is described as both the author and the earner of peace for His people. Before humanity sinned, Christ purposed peace for His people, and at the appointed time, He accomplished it by His sacrificial death. Ephesians 2:14 states, 'For He is our peace,' indicating that true peace is found in a relationship with Him. His sacrifice blots out our sins, reconciling us to God, and provides a peace that transcends our circumstances, deeply grounding believers in the assurance of their salvation.
