What is the significance of Christ being a man for our salvation?

Answered in 1 source

Christ had to be fully man to represent us and fulfill God's law perfectly (Hebrews 2:14).

The significance of Christ being fully man lies in His ability to truly represent humanity and to fulfill the demands of God's law on our behalf. According to Hebrews 2:14, 'Forasmuch then as the children are partakers of flesh and blood, He also Himself likewise took part of the same.' This means that Christ, by becoming a man, could empathize with our struggles and temptations while maintaining His sinlessness. His perfect obedience as a man allows Him to be the perfect mediator between God and humanity, securing our redemption.
