What is the significance of Christ in wise counsels?

Answered in 1 source

Christ is central to wise counsels as He embodies wisdom and the truth of God’s Word.

The significance of Christ in wise counsels stems from the assertion that He is the truth of God, as revealed throughout Scripture. When we refer to the whole counsel of God, we mean to underscore that all wisdom and understanding ultimately point back to Christ. In 1 Kings 3, Solomon’s request for wisdom is a foreshadowing of Christ, who is ultimate wisdom incarnate. The proverbs we study serve as pointers toward understanding the nature and character of Christ, who is our true wisdom, righteousness, and sanctification. Therefore, wise counsels are those that align our hearts and minds toward Christ, encouraging us to trust and follow Him.
