What is the significance of faith in Christ?

Answered in 2 sources

Faith in Christ is essential as it is through faith that believers are united with Him and receive salvation.

Faith in Christ is significant because it is the means by which believers are united to Him and, consequently, partake in His fullness. Just as Noah had to act upon God’s message to build the ark, and the Israelites had to apply the blood for salvation during Passover, believers today must actively trust in Christ, recognizing Him as their sole source of salvation. Faith means relying on Him alone for completeness and righteousness. This faith leads to a transformed life and assures believers of their eternal security in Him.
