What is the significance of faith in prayer?

Answered in 2 sources

Faith is crucial in prayer as it aligns our hearts with God's will and assures us of His capability to answer.

Faith plays a foundational role in prayer as it is through faith that we approach God, believing that He is both willing and able to help us. In the story of the Canaanite woman, her faith was highlighted by Jesus when He declared, 'O woman, great is thy faith' (Matthew 15:28). This incident illustrates that great faith persists despite obstacles and discouragements. Moreover, without faith, our prayers may reflect doubt and uncertainty. As we grow in faith, our prayers can become more aligned with God's purpose, ultimately leading us to receive what aligns with His will for our lives.
