What lessons can we learn about teaching children according to the Bible?

Answered in 1 source

We learn to teach children the fear of the Lord and our need for a Savior.

Psalm 34:11 encourages us to teach children the fear of the Lord, which includes instructing them about their need for salvation. This is modeled in the story of Adam and Eve teaching their children about sin and God's promise of a Savior. Teaching involves sharing not only biblical stories but also personal experiences of God's grace. When we communicate our own need for redemption and the workings of God's grace, we instill in children the value of humility and faith in Christ.
