What perspective should Christians have regarding their suffering?

Answered in 1 source

Christians should view their suffering through the lens of hope in Christ's future glory and the promise of redemption.

Suffering can often cloud our vision, much like Job’s own experiences conveyed. Yet in his darkest moments, Job lifted his eyes to the promise of his Redeemer (Job 19:25). Similarly, Christians are called to maintain a perspective that transcends current trials by recalling the hope of their future with Christ. Our sufferings are temporary and light compared to the eternal glory that awaits us (Romans 8:18). Therefore, afflictions are not meaningless; they are instruments in God's hands to mold us more into the image of Christ, reinforcing our longing for His return and ultimate restoration.
