What relationship dynamics can affect our faith?

Answered in 1 source

Certain human relationships can either strengthen or weaken a believer's faith and love for Christ.

The nature of our relationships plays a significant role in either strengthening or weakening our faith. Jesus stresses in Luke 14:26 that believers must prioritize their love for Him above all other affections. If relationships become idolized, they can draw believers away from their commitment to Christ and diminish their ardor for Him. This includes being wary of friendships that do not encourage spiritual growth or that compromise one’s spiritual standards. Such influences can be detrimental to a believer’s perseverance in faith, reminding us to seek relationships that uplift and inspire greater love for Christ.
