What responsibilities do Christians have regarding the gospel?

Answered in 1 source

Christians are responsible to hear, believe, and share the gospel as witnesses of Christ's light.

Believers carry the responsibility to not only hear the gospel but also to respond to it in faith and obedience. Mark 4:24 encourages us, 'Take heed what you hear,' implying that we must be diligent in our listening and understanding of the gospel message. Furthermore, as recipients of God's grace, we are called to share the light of the gospel with others. Matthew 5:14-16 reminds us that we are the light of the world, created to reflect and proclaim Christ's salvation to those in darkness. This calling requires us to actively participate in spreading the good news to fulfill our role as ambassadors of Christ.
