What role does faith play in experiencing God's help?

Answered in 1 source

Faith enables believers to rest in God's promises, trusting in His plans during difficult times.

Faith is the means by which believers connect to the promises of God. In experiencing God's help, faith compels us to trust in His presence and His attributes as our refuge. When adversities strike, those who have been brought to an end of their own strength and efforts often cry out for mercy and find God’s grace actively at work. The reality of being 'still and knowing that He is God' manifests in the life of one who has faith—being assured that God will indeed fulfill His promises, ultimately leading to peace in the midst of turmoil.
