What role does faith play in holding on our way as Christians?

Answered in 1 source

Faith is vital as it anchors our hope and empowers us to persevere in our walk with Christ.

Faith is the means by which we are sustained and encouraged in our journey as Christians. Romans 10:17 states, 'Faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.' This underscores the necessity of immersing ourselves in God's Word to strengthen our faith. As we grow in knowledge and understanding of the Gospel, our assurance increases, enabling us to hold on to our way despite life's challenges. It is through faith that we trust in God's promises, leading us to endure hardships without losing hope. The righteous hold on their way because their faith perseveres under trial, reaffirming their commitment to Christ.
